Phantom Blade Zero has 36 trophies: the platinum, Defy Destiny, plus 3 gold, 14 silver and 18 bronze. The list above shows each one with its icon, what it asks and how to get it, grouped the way you will earn it: the story, the bosses, the quests, then upgrades and collecting. Nineteen are hidden on PlayStation until you earn them, because their names give away bosses and story; here they are all open. Tick a trophy when it pops and the count keeps your platinum run; the ticks stay in this browser and are never sent anywhere.

Which trophies can you miss?
Seven of them can be: the side-quest trophies. Some side quests expire as the main story moves on, so do each one when it appears. The quests are Secrets of the Baishan Sect, The Journey Home, Young Master Lan, A Severed Mindseal, Heart of the Banyan, the three healer quests (Flesh Lily, Apprentice Healer and A Healer’s Mercy) and every one of Quick Hand’s Requests.
Two trophies that look like side quests are not. Secrets at the Heart of the Lake is a main mission in chapter 6, at Meigu Lake, and Bloodline Awakening is a main mission in chapter 8, at Mount Soulrend, so the story hands you both. The full order is on the walkthrough page.
Which side quests expire, and at what point, is not published yet. We mark each one here as we reach it. Whether any of the 17 bosses can be skipped is not known either, so fight every boss you meet.
Can you get the platinum in one playthrough?
Yes. Director Soulframe Liang says every trophy can be earned on Wayfarer, Pathbreaker or Hellwalker, in a single playthrough. New Game+ adds no new story, so nothing is held back for a second run.
Two hidden gold trophies belong to the story. The list gives each one a single line and no more, and we will say what triggers them once we have played to them.
Does difficulty affect trophies?
No. No trophy asks for a difficulty, and you never need Sixty-Six Days mode. Sixty-Six Days, the mode where a counter of 66 drops with each death, has no trophy of its own. Play on the setting you enjoy; the difficulty page explains the four modes.
How long does the platinum take?
The main story takes about 25 to 30 hours, the director says, if you do not get stuck on a boss. On top of that the platinum asks for the seven side-quest trophies, 10 Memory Flowers, 30 Accessories, Tempering on 10 weapons and 10 Phantom Edges, and one weapon and one Phantom Edge at Level 30.
No one has published a platinum time we can check yet. We add ours once we have it.
Platinum roadmap
- Pick Wayfarer, Pathbreaker or Hellwalker. Any of them counts.
- Play the story and take every side quest the moment it is offered: seven trophies hang on side quests, and some expire.
- Pick up every Memory Flower and Accessory you see. You need 10 flowers and 30 accessories.
- Temper weapons and Phantom Edges as you collect them, and push one of each to Level 30.
- Beat every boss you meet: 17 trophies are boss kills.
Are there Steam achievements?
Yes. The Steam store lists Steam Achievements for the PC version, but their names and number are not public yet. We check them against this list on launch day.
