The eight region maps

The maps follow the game’s regions, so a few hold more than one chapter. After you read a save, each card shows how much of that map you have and how many key items are left.

Where the markers come from

Every marker is read from the game’s level files: the Bell, chest or flower object the game itself places. Chest contents are the loot the game assigns to that chest, so a chest that says Blackstone Shard holds a Blackstone Shard.

The maps are the game’s own paintings, and paintings are not to scale. To put a marker on the painting, the page uses the game’s own map anchors, the thousands of points the game uses to draw you on the map. Most markers land within an icon’s width of the spot. Where no anchor is close, the marker has a dashed ring; look a little wider there.

Not drawn: the 10 Bells inside small separate scenes, such as the Lóng Pillars and the Human-Faced Banyans, because the game’s map does not show them either; the prologue, which has no map; and bosses.

Why 131 Memory Flowers?

The maps count every Memory Flower placed in the levels: 131. Our Memory Flowers guide counts the 37 in the seven regional sets and three Tales, with what each set gives you. Use the guide for the rewards and the map for the places.
