Baishan Headband item lore: “A headband belonging to a disciple of the Baishan Sect, originally the property of Lu Jieyuan's wife. After her death, he kept it with him at all times. At some point, the world changed. The villagers stopped worshipping their ancestors and instead covered the ancestral tablets with red flowers. So they bade farewell to their aging father and their young daughter, vowing to carve out a brighter road with their blades. But the Mandate was changing too. Martial artists abandoned their training, tying red flowers around their swords and muttering prayers to ghosts and gods. In the end the village drowned in red flowers, and the road they had set out to carve proved nothing but hardship.”
